Introduction to Business Administration
Business administration is a broad field that includes many different roles, professional settings and opportunities for growth. In simple terms, business administration is the work of managing an organization’s resources, time and people. Business administration professionals work to ensure that businesses and organizations are run effectively, efficiently and profitably. This is a balancing act that requires knowledge and skills in a range of disciplines.
Counselling and Negotiation Skills for Managers
Counselling and negotiation both play important and valuable roles in life in general, but also in business. Managers and supervisors must be trained on the best communication practice skills and techniques for having difficult conversations early and with ease, to give useful and tangible feedback and create a meaningful action plan that facilitates correction and supports the team member’s development – all while still meaningfully developing rapport with the employee.
Network Training
A computer network is a group of two or more interconnected computer systems. You can establish a network connection using either cable or wireless media. Every network involves hardware and software that connects computers and tools. Routers guide and direct network data, using packets that contain various kinds of data such as files, communications, and simple transmissions like web interactions. The Routing Information Protocol (RIP) is one of a family of IP Routing protocol and is an Interior Gateway Protocol (IGP) designed to distribute routing information within an Autonomous System (AS). RIP is a simple vector routing protocol with many existing implementations in the field. In a vector routing protocol, the routers exchange network reachability information with their nearest neighbours.
Desktop Productivity and Publishing Tools
Microsoft Word is a widely used commercial word processor designed by Microsoft. Word processing is widely used to create or edit a typed document. In this program, you can change the format of your work like color, text size etc. This program also allows you to add clip art, change margins, spell check, header and footer etc. A spreadsheet is used to organize data in rows and columns in a worksheet. Data is stored in cells that are divided into columns and rows. Adobe Photoshop is the predominant photo editing and manipulation software on the market. Its uses range from the full-featured editing of large batches of photos to creating intricate digital paintings and drawings that mimic those done by hand. Adobe PageMaker was an early GUI-based desktop publishing program. It included simple tools for laying out text and images on a page.
Informatics in Economics
Informatics education is fundamental to modern education. Through this discipline, the digital world is developed and that this must be safe, secure and just. Currently many developments involving Informatics are shaping medicine, education, transport, etc. and pupils need to be attuned to that and to the tremendous opportunities that exist; such potential will only increase in the future. Informatics is the science whose effect can be seen in two ways. It has created the new digital world in which text, images, movies and dynamic
models of the real world can be stored, retrieved and manipulated, alongside a virtual world of games and simulation. It has been a major accelerator and often a necessary tool in research and development within all of the other sciences and engineering and created new disciplines in collaboration with them by developing new models of representing domain specific data and novel ways of human interaction with those models.
Data Analysis using Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS)
SPSS (Statistical Package for the social sciences) is the set of software programs that are combined together in a single package. The basic application of this program is to analyze scientific data related to social science. This data can be used for market research, surveys, data mining, etc.
With the help of the obtained statistical information, researchers can easily understand the demand for a product in the market, and can change their strategy accordingly. Basically, SPSS first store and organize the provided data, then it compiles the data set to produce suitable output. SPSS is designed in such a way that it can handle a large set of variable data formats.
Critical Theories and Critics
Critical theory is a social theory oriented toward critiquing and changing society as a whole. It differs from traditional theory, which focuses only on understanding or explaining society. Critical theories aim to dig beneath the surface of social life and uncover the assumptions that keep human beings from a full and true understanding of how the world works. a critical theory must do two important things: It must account for society within a historical context, and it should seek to
offer a robust and holistic critique by incorporating insights from all social sciences.
